The cornerstone of the enlargement of Ülemiste Centre was laid 22.08.2018, after which by the summer of 2019 it will become the largest shopping and entertainment center in the Baltic States

The building is under construction by Fund Ehitus OÜ. On the ceremony of laying the cornerstone, in particular, were the executive director of the developer Ülemiste Centre Linstow Per Tore Mortensen, the executive director of Ülemiste Centre Guido Pärnits, the Mayor of Tallinn Taavi Aas, the head of the SEB Corporate banking division Artjom Sokolov, the executive director of Fund Ehitus OÜ Eiki Rump and the executive director of Apollo Group OÜ Mauri Kristjan Dorbek. A time capsule, which contains lucky symbolic gifts, a newspaper for this day, a banknote, posters of films, and created together with Kinoteater MTÜ comic videos about the future, was placed in the cornerstone. Upon completion of the construction work, there will be an underground parking and 3 above-ground floors, where cafes, restaurants, a multiplex cinema, a sports club and a 1500 sq m trampoline center for young people will be located. Works on enlargement will add to Ülemiste Centre 13 000 sq m of shopping and entertainment areas. Upon completion of the works, which cost almost 35 mn €, it will be by the summer of 2019 the largest shopping and entertainment center in the Baltic States with 125 000 sq m.
